Nitro Wood Review: Better Circulation and Better Sex?

Nitro Wood is a dietary supplement used to support circulation which is sold by a brand called Inno Supps. The brand suggests the supplement may also improve sexual function, stating that it can “Unleash Your Sexual Power” because “more blood to your bits could mean better stimulation to your love organ.”

But does Nitro Wood contain research-backed ingredients for improving circulation and sex drive, or are these just marketing claims? Does it contain any questionable additives? And how do real users rate and describe its effects?

In this article we’ll answer all of these questions and more, as we analyze the ingredients in Nitro Wood to give our take on whether or not the supplement is likely to be effective for improving sexual function in men.

We’ll also feature real customer reviews and ratings.

Ingredient Analysis

Nitro Wood Supplement Facts label

The active ingredients in Nitro Wood are shown above.

Niacin, also known as vitamin B3, is effective for improving circulation, but may be underdosed in Nitro Wood at only 10 milligrams (mg) per serving.

A clinical trial published in the British Journal of Ophthalmology found that niacin improved blood flow, but the doses used were 250 mg and 500 mg.

We can’t find any clinical studies showing that niacin at only 10 mg improves blood flow, nor does Inno Supps currently cite any on their product page.

Vitamin C was shown in one clinical trial to improve circulation, but the dose used was nearly 10x the dose in this supplement.

The remaining active ingredients in Nitro Wood are contained in a “Blood Circulation Blend.”

Maritime pine bark extract was shown in a 2011 medical review to improve cardiovascular function, and the doses used in some of the analyzed trials were similar to the dose in Nitro Wood.

Beet root powder is proven to reduce blood pressure, but at a dose far higher than what’s included in these pills.

As we documented in our review of a supplement called Superbeets, the only clinical trial we could locate on beet powder for blood pressure reduction used a dose of 10 grams (g), or 50x the amount in Nitro Wood.

Grape seed extract was shown in a clinical trial to reduce blood pressure at a dose similar to that in Nitro Wood.

S7 is a blend of plant-based ingredients whose manufacturer claims it can increase nitric oxide levels by 230%.

Nitric oxide widens blood vessels and can reduce blood pressure. However, the manufacturer currently provides no proof of such claim and simply states to “contact us” for clinical trial results.

Overall, we consider Nitro Wood likely to support optimal cardiovascular function, in particular due to the effective doses of maritime pine bark extract and grape seed extract.

We can’t locate much clinical evidence suggesting that this supplement will directly improve male sexual function or erection quality.

Our main concern about this supplement is that there is no inactive ingredient list published on the Supplement Facts label, which is a consumer safety issue.

Inactive ingredients like capsule and filler material should be listed, because consumers may have sensitivities or allergies to some of these ingredients.

If no inactive ingredients are used, the brand should clarify that.

Stay up-to-date on our research reviews

Nitro Wood contains a number of research-backed ingredients, and we consider the supplement likely to be effective for supporting optimal cardiovascular function and blood pressure.

All of its active ingredients are safe and well-studied, but the brand fails to publish inactive ingredients, which is a safety concern.

If no inactive ingredients exist (which would be highly non-standard for a capsule formulation), the brand should clarify that.

We found less direct clinical evidence for the impact of this supplement on sexual health and sex drive, but improving cardiovascular health overall may have downstream positive effects on sexual function.

This is one of the better-formulated cardiovascular health supplements we’ve reviewed to date on Illuminate Health.

Online customer reviews of Nitro Wood are better than the category average.
