Feals is one of the most popular cannabidiol (CBD) brands in the US. The company recently launched a CBD gummy supplement that it describes as "microdosed just enough to elevate your busy day."
But do Feals Gummies contain a research-backed CBD dose to support relaxation? Do they contain any unhealthy ingredients? What was our Product Tester's experience trying them for a month? And are Feals Gummies better or worse than popular CBD gummy brands like Five CBD?
In this article we'll answer all of these questions and more, as we analyze the ingredients in Feals Gummies to give our take on whether or not they're effectively-dosed, and whether or not they're healthy.
We'll also provide a standardized price comparison to show how Feals Gummies compare to other popular CBD gummy brands, feature our Product Tester's honest experience trying this brand for a month, and compare Feals Gummies to other popular CBD gummy brands to pick our winners (and losers).
Key takeaways:
- Contains research-backed CBD dose
- Contains inactive ingredients we consider unhealthy
- We do not currently recommend Feals Gummies
Ingredient Analysis
The active ingredients in Feals Gummies are shown below:

CBD is included at a dose of 20 milligrams (mg).
This is within the effective dosing range according to a systematic review published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine Research.
Early research suggests that CBD supplementation can be effective for anxiety relief, as we documented in our Keoni CBD Gummies reviews article.
The inactive ingredients in Feals Gummies are shown below:

There are several ingredients in this list that we consider to be unhealthy.
Citric acid was shown to cause inflammatory reactions in some individuals in a series of case reports published in the Toxicology Reports journal.
Sucralose is an artificial sweetener found to decrease insulin sensitivity in healthy adults in a 2018 clinical trial. Insulin sensitivity affects blood sugar regulation.
Corn syrup and sucrose are refined forms of sugar, and a 2020 medical review concluded that diets high in added sugar can contribute to obesity.
Natural flavors is a broad categorical term, and a medical review found that flavoring agents may contain preservatives and other ingredients that aren't immediately clear to consumers.
Overall, we do not consider Feals Gummies to be a healthy choice given these inactive ingredients, so we don't currently recommend this CBD gummy brand.
To be clear though, we haven't yet come across a CBD gummy brand that has 100% healthy ingredients, and we don't consider Feals to be less healthy than the average CBD gummy brand that we've reviewed to date on Illuminate Health.
We Tested Feals Gummies
One of our product testers named Jodie Steinberg tried Feals Gummies for a month.
Here's her experience:

There was no issue opening the package, which is a standard resealable bag.
The gummies inside did not stick to each other, which made taking them out easy.
The smell was fine, but the taste was strange. At first, it tastes good and fruity, but an aftertaste then emerges where you can kind of taste a hint of THC which is not that pleasant.
I would not say it is a deal breaker or disgusting but just something to be aware of.
Unfortunately I found no benefit from this product.
I tried the Tranquil Tangerine Blissful Unwind gummies at different times when my mood was good, agitated, anxious or stressed, to compare if these would help in any way affect my mood or how my body feels:

I have an Oura ring which can track my heart rate, stress levels and how I am feeling to compare it to my own subjective feelings, and there was no difference.
I also tried to take one gummy versus two to see if there would be any difference. I found that it was as if I took nothing each time.
I felt no sense of calmness, pain relief, or relaxation, but I definitely did not ever feel high if that is something you are concerned about as the THC level is extremely low.
I tried the Five CBD gummies which I thought were much better, although the THC level in those gummies is much higher.
I did not experience any side effects while testing this product.
Overall, I would rate Feals Gummies 1/10, and I do not plan to purchase it in the future.
Is Feals Overpriced?
It can be challenging to compare the cost of CBD gummies in a standardized way because of the differing serving sizes and CBD doses.
Here is the price of 100 mg of CBD from some of the most popular CBD gummy brands, including Feals:
Feals: $9.17
Five CBD: $8.00
cbdMD: $5.22
Charlotte's Web: $3.33
Feals gummies cost significantly more than competitors when standardized per-mg-CBD.
We don't consider Feals Gummies to have any advantage over the brands listed above, so we do consider them to be overpriced.
Feals Gummies vs. Popular CBD Gummies
Here's how Feals Gummies compare to other popular CBD gummy brands in terms of formulation quality, in our opinion:
Space Gods Gummies
Contains many unhealthy ingredients including synthetic dye Red 40, which is clinically shown to be contaminated with carcinogens in some cases.
We consider Feals Gummies to be the healthier choice.
Winner: Feals Gummies
Five CBD
Our Product Tester tried Five CBD Gummies and found them to be much more effective than Feals.
In the above-linked review, she documents how Five CBD Gummies had a pleasant taste, and had relaxing and psychoactive effects.
This supplement is free of sucralose, so we consider Five CBD Gummies to be the better option from a potential efficacy and health standpoint.
Winner: Five CBD
Bluebird Botanicals
This is one of the healthier brands on the market.
While their gummies contain a few inactive ingredients we consider unhealthy, they're free from artificial sweeteners, and come with extensive third-party testing to assess label accuracy and contaminants.
We consider Bluebird Botanicals to be the healthier option.
Winner: Bluebird Botanicals
Our Clean CBD Picks

Cornbread CBD Gummies is our top CBD gummy pick.
This is the healthiest CBD gummy formulation we've come across, because the brand uses organic flavoring and organic beetroot for color.
Cornbread CBD Oil is our top CBD oil pick.
It has a clean formulation of organic hemp extract and organic coconut medium-chain triglycerides, and the brand publishes lab testing on every product page.
Both of the products recommended in this section are free of any ingredients we consider unhealthy.
