Incellderm Review: Does Luxury K-Beauty Actually Work?

Incellderm is a Korean skincare brand that sells cosmetics in sets, that's manufactured by a company called RIMAN. The company describes their product line as "Luxury Skincare" and it's certainly priced that way.

But does Incellderm use research-backed ingredients for reversing signs of aging? Does the brand use any unhealthy ingredients? How do real users rate and describe the effects of Incellderm? And how does the brand compare to other luxury skincare brands?

In this article we'll answer all of these questions and more, as we analyze the ingredients in two of Incellderm's most popular products to give our take on whether or not it's likely to improve skin quality, and whether or not it's healthy.

We'll also feature real customer reviews, and compare Incellderm to other luxury skincare brands.

Key takeaways:

  • RIMAN is official manufacturer website
  • Both products reviewed have research-backed active ingredients and no unhealthy ingredients
  • We currently recommend Incellderm

Challenging to Find Official Website

When we researched Incellderm for this article, we first came across a number of authorized distributor websites.

These sites have URLs like "incellderm.net" and "buyincellderm.com," but these websites are not the official manufacturer website.

Strangely, at the time of publishing this article, at least on our device, the official manufacturer website does not rank on Google's first page when you search "Incellderm."

The official manufacturer is named RIMAN, and their official website is accessible at this link or at this official Amazon link.

We generally recommend purchasing directly from an official manufacturer where possible, rather than from third-party distributors.

Incellderm Active Cream Ex Review

The ingredients in Incellderm Active Cream Ex, also known as ICD Dermatology Cream, are shown below:

Incellderm Active Cream Ex ingredients list

This is an incredibly extensive ingredients list.

Centella asiatica leaf water is the first active ingredient, and has an anti-inflammatory effect on skin according to a medical review published in the Advances in Dermatology and Allergology journal.

Sodium hyaluronate is clinically shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, as we discussed in our Depology review article on another popular Korean skincare brand.

Ceramide NP is a ceramide, a class of compounds shown in medical studies to improve skin hydration and skin barrier function.

Pear fruit extract is a potent skincare ingredient.

A 2019 clinical trial described found that when combined with other ingredients in gel form, pear fruit extract "possesses antiaging potential with improvement in skin tone and elasticity, ameliorated skin moisture and showed skin whitening potential."

There are no ingredients in this formulation that we consider to be unhealthy.

Overall, we consider Incellderm Active Cream Ex highly likely to improve skin quality and have an anti-aging effect. We currently recommend this product.

Incellderm vs. the Competition

Incredibly expensive, with some products costing over $1,000.

Another popular Korean skincare brand that contains many research-backed active ingredients.

This brand uses fragrance, which we consider to be unhealthy, as we documented in our Sulwhasoo review article.

Also, more expensive than Incellderm.

Both products contained research-backed active ingredients for supporting skin quality, and were free of any unhealthy ingredients.
