B Foxy is a firming cream for the inner thighs sold by a popular brand called Maelys Cosmetics. The company claims their product is “clinically proven” and that it helps to firm the appearance of the thighs.

But can a skin cream really firm and tighten skin on the thighs, or are these just marketing claims? Does B Foxy contain research-backed ingredients for improving the skin? Does it contain any questionable additive ingredients? And how do real users rate and describe the effects of B Foxy?

In this article we’ll answer all of these questions and more as we analyze the ingredients in B Foxy based on medical studies to give our take on whether the cream is likely to be effective, or if it’s a waste of money.

We’ll provide a cost comparison to show which retailer sells the product for the best price, and feature real, unsponsored B Foxy customer reviews.

Ingredient Analysis

B Foxy ingredients

The ingredients in B Foxy are shown above.

There are a number of active ingredients in this formulation that have research backing for improving skin quality.

Coconut oil is one of the natural products with the most research backing, and was shown in a clinical trial published in the Dermatitis journal to significantly improve skin hydration.

Shea butter is clinically shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect and to support skin barrier repair.

Tocopherol, better known as vitamin E, was shown in a 2000 medical review to protect the skin from UV damage.

Palmitoyl tripeptide-5 may reduce inflammation in the skin according to a medical review published in the Pharmaceuticals journal.

Panthenol is a naturally-derived moisturizer, as we discussed in our Aquaphor review article.

While there are clearly a number of research-backed ingredients in B Foxy, there are some inactive ingredients that may be questionable from a health perspective.

Phenoxyethanol and sodium benzoate are synthetic preservatives, the former of which was shown in a 2020 clinical trial to be toxic to human cells.

Fragrance is commonly included in cosmetic products, but a 2016 medical review analyzed safety data on this compound and concluded that it can pose a risk to human health.

Red 33 and yellow 6 are synthetic dyes, and as we discussed in our B Tight cream review on another Maelys Cosmetics product, artificial dyes may be harmful to human health.

Overall, we consider B Foxy likely to firm the appearance of the skin as the brand suggests, because it contains many active ingredients clinically shown to improve skin quality through different biological mechanisms.

We don’t currently recommend this product due to the inclusion of the questionable inactive ingredients discussed above.

But how do real users rate and describe the effects of B Foxy? We’ll discuss in the next section.

Real Customers Review B Foxy

Amazon is a better resource for honest customer reviews than a brand’s website in our opinion.

B Foxy has been reviewed over 200 times on Amazon with an average review rating of 3.7 out of 5 stars.

The top positive review from a verified purchaser comes from a user named “Dawn Francesconi” who claims the product is effective:

“I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve been using this stuff for less than a month and I can already see a huge difference…there are all different kinds for different areas too!”

The top negative review from a verified purchaser is written by a user named “bagira” who claims the product is overpriced and ineffective:

“No visible results at all. It feels and looks like tinted moisturizer. I have not noticed any of the advertised properties. Although smell is pleasant, it's quite strong and stays on for long time. Too expensive for a moisturiser.”

Our Clean Skin Tightening Pick

For consumers seeking a cosmetics product to improve skin quality throughout the body, we recommend Clearstem Bodyglow Stem Cell Body Oil.

This product is formulated using argan oil, which is clinically shown to have an anti-aging effect on skin.

Green tea was shown to have a “prolonged moisturizing effect” and may have a tightening effect on skin, according to a clinical trial published in the Dermatologic Therapy journal.

This product is fragrance-free and dye-free, and is naturally fragranced with essential oils like sandalwood oil and rose oil.

Interested consumers can check out Clearstem Bodyglow Stem Cell Body Oil at this link to the product page on the brand’s official website.

Conclusion

B Foxy is likely to be effective in our opinion. Like most Maelys Cosmetics products we’ve reviewed, it has an impressive formulation from a potency perspective.

We believe that this product is likely to improve the appearance of skin tightness, to moisturize skin and potentially to promote skin barrier repair.

We don’t currently recommend this product due to the inclusion of several questionable additive ingredients.

Maelys Cosmetics products have great branding, and for consumers interested in purchasing this product, we recommend doing so directly on the brand website since it’s the same price on all platforms.
