Joshua Martinez is a senior research associate at Colossal Biosciences.

Growing up, he was surrounded by unhealthy fast foods and saw the repercussions first hand that such foods have on one's overall health.

Joshua’s health journey started in community college while majoring in kinesiology, which prompted him to complete an undergraduate degree in biochemistry.

With a better understanding of the mechanisms each nutrient has in the body, Joshua became interested in testing how health products affect his physical and mental health, and helping inform others by sharing his experiences.

He decided to join Illuminate Labs, as a product tester on Illuminate Health, to voice my findings on a growing platform.
